Korea to Develop Homegrown IPTV Standards

Considering the great potential of the IPTV market and the inconsistent technologies adopted by IPTV operators, Korean TTA (Telecommunications and Technology Association) is planning to develop a homegrown IPTV standard and to promote it as an international standard. To achieve this goal, TTA has set up a committee for the IPTV standardization activity. Other details are not yet revealed.
